Alli Gymnastics

Today was parents day at gymnastics. So Lauren and myself were able to go in the gymn and take pictures of Alli. Alli loves gymnastics and she is improving every week. She has been taking gymnastics since september. Alli's favorite thing to do is walk on the beam.

Megan and Alli had fun hitting their golfball, Megan was afraid that the balls were going to go into the water, since mom's ball went in once.

Lauren liked carring the balls around and picking them up from the hole.

James and the girls after we finished all 18 holes of minigolf. James had work off today and Megan is out of school for fall break so we decided to go miniture golfing it only cost us $4.00 for all 5 of us what a great deal! After golfing we went to Red Robin for lunch.

Eye Spy Bag

These are the eye spy bags I made for my girls and for my sister's boys. Megan and Alli love to look at them, lauren is more into just carring it around. I got the idea from http://www.enrichmentcottage.com/crafts/eye_spy_bags.htm I changed it a little, but it is where I got the basic pattern.

Lauren Walking

Lauren took her first steps on thursday August 14. I was so excited. I was at enrichment and we were cleaning up. James says Melissa look. Lauren had taken like five steps and then she took five more. Needless to say that was the highlight of my night. lauren now walks everywhere which I love because now she can keep up with her sisters and is not crawling around and finding things to put in her mouth.

Megan is in 1st Grade

Megan started school on August 6th. She is so excited to be back at school. She loves going to school. Yesterday she brought home a sciene book even though she didn't have any homework from it. I asked her why she brought it home and she said, "Mom, I need to read this whole book because I want to be smart and learn everything."

Swimming in the Ditch

On saturday, it rained for a good couple of hours. After the rain had stopped the girls wanted to go outside and play. We said that was fine. When we went out to check on them, Alli was running through the ditch in the front of our yard. It was filled with water. While we were outside watching them Alli started to swim and jump in the ditch. Megan was a little timid at first, but then when I got out the camera she wanted to be in the pictures so she started getting a little wetter. They had a grand ol time playing, splashing, jumping and swimming in the ditch!!!

The garden

Look at the garden grow. The tomato plants are taller than Megan!! I don't remember seeing tomato plants grow so big. In the garden we are growing tomatoes, carrots, onions, peppers, jalapinos, broccolli, zuchinni, pumpkin, yellow squash, cucumbers, corn, and watermelon. It is exciting to watch the plants grow and to see the plants starting to produce veggies. We have already got some squash and tomatoes from the garden. yummy!!

Look who is 4

Happy Birthday Alli. Alli turned 4 on the 24th. We were going to go to the movies for her biryhday, but the movie we were going to go was all filled up, and we didn't want to watch Mr. Bean so I took the girls to buy Mariposa and they watched it at home instead. While we were out running errands we went to lunch with James which the girls enjoyed. These are a few pictures of alli on her birthday.
