The kids love Halloween. The girls decided during the summer that they wanted to be monster high dolls for Halloween. (they love playing games and watching videos on monsterhigh.com) So with a little help from me, they were able to become the monster high crew.

The kids had fun trick-or-treating, Alli was always the first one to the door and was the only one to say "trick-or treat" Brayden loved all the treats he was getting, so he made sure he always got in front of his sisters so he didn't get left out:)

2nd and 4th grade- 1st day of school

Megan and Alli were so excited to start school.

Megan was especially excited because her 4th grade teacher was also her kindergarten teacher.

Softball Pics

Alli and Megan played softball this last spring. They both liked playing, and got pretty good at hitting especially since it was their first year.

Alli's team was called Lady Indians and her position was outfield between the 1st and 2nd base.

Megan's team was East Indians and she played catcher, most of the time.

So with 2 girls playing softball and on different teams we had a pretty busy spring, but we definitely had fun watching and cheering for the girls in their games.

1st Hair Cut for the Little Man

On Thursday March 24 I decided it was time for Brayden to get a hair cut. So we ( I mean I) started cutting, but I couldn't do it by myself. So I gave James the clippers and I held Brayden. I didn't realize James was going to buzz it all off. I thought we were going to leave the top a little longer, but I was mistaken. James said it was easier to just buzz it all the same length.

It still turned out cute :)

His hair cut did just the opposite of what Lauren wanted (See next post). Brayden had brown hair and now he is a blonde!!This picture was taken Feb.13, 2011

I Wanted My Hair Brown

So if you have seen this movie

Then you know that when Rapunzel's hair gets cut it turns brown

Well little Miss Lauren decided she wanted her hair brown too!

Lauren was in the other room watching TV (I thought) and then she came around the corner and I new she was up to something well then I saw her hair. I could not believe it.

James and myself went into the living room to clean up the mess and this is what we found:

I asked Lauren why she cut her hair and she said, "I wanted to have Brown Hair!"

I trimmed up her hair in the back so she wouldn't have a mullet. ( Since we had to go to the dentist). Then the rest of the morning Lauren kept saying "I am going to look Ridiculous!"

After the dentist we stopped at 4 different salons until we found one that we didn't have to wait at. Lauren did really good and held still while the lady cut/fixed her hair.

Snow, Snow and More Snow

Snow Fall #2

Megan and Lauren and their snowman, Alli helped too, but she went inside because she was freezing.

On Monday Jan. 10 we woke up to about 7 inches of snow, which is pretty close to a record snow fall for here. School and work were cancelled so we had a fun day in the snow. School and work were cancelled for Tuesday too, but James had to go back to work today while the girls are getting one more snow day.

On Christmas morning we woke to a white Christmas, the girls were so excited and had a great time building a snow man, making snow angels, and throwing snow balls at me!
